Chennais Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management Confers Degrees on Over 800 Graduates, Strengthens Global Career Pathways
Chennais Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management celebrated the graduation of more than 800 students in Chennai, with degrees conferred by Alagappa University Vice-Chancellor Professor G. Ravi. The institution highlighted global placements, international collaborations, and expanded career opportunities through its partnership with the Malaysian Association of Hotels.
Degrees were conferred by Honorary Consultant Professor G. Ravi, Vice-Chancellor of Alagappa University, who attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest. More than 800 students received degrees under the academic collaboration between Chennais Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management and Alagappa University. The programmes included Bachelor of Science in Catering and Hotel Administration, Diploma in Hotel Administration, Bachelor of Science Lateral Entry, and Master of Business Administration in Hotel Management.
Addressing the graduating students, Professor G. Ravi highlighted the importance of continuous learning, innovation, ethical leadership, and skill development in an increasingly dynamic global economy. He encouraged graduates to embrace lifelong learning and remain adaptable to the evolving demands of the hospitality and service sectors.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman R. Boomee Naathan of Chennais Amirta Educational Group stated that graduation marks not the end of education but the beginning of a lifelong journey of learning, leadership, and professional excellence. He said the institution remains committed to creating industry-ready professionals through career-oriented education in Hotel Management, Aviation and Airport Management, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management across its campuses in Chennai, Chengalpattu, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Kochi, and Delhi.
He further stated that the institution has facilitated 31,651 national and international placements, enabling graduates to build successful careers with leading organisations across India, the Middle East, Europe, Southeast Asia, the Maldives, Mauritius, and several other countries.
Highlighting the institution's expanding international collaborations, R. Boomee Naathan said the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding with the Malaysian Association of Hotels will provide students with access to employment opportunities across 1,100 member hotels in Malaysia. He said the partnership further strengthens the institution's commitment to preparing graduates for successful careers in the global hospitality industry.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Chief Operating Officer Bhanumathi, Dean Suren, Chief Academic Advisor Paul, principals of the institution's Nursing, Bengaluru, Balkampet, Vijayawada, and Aviation colleges, faculty members, graduating students, parents, and other distinguished guests.
